For all 3 of you who care (and maybe that\u2019s an over-estimation), I\u2019m still alive and kicking. It\u2019s just that all things photographic and musical have been quite slow lately. Maybe it was the holidays, maybe it\u2019s the economic cesspool we\u2019re experiencing, I don\u2019t know. Ironically, activity in my\u00a0day gig<\/a> has been quite steady since the first of the year. So I\u2019ve got that going for me – which is nice.<\/p>\n

Musically, I have a few irons in the fire. I\u2019m still involved in a jazz trio with Eddie Campos on drums, and Jim Briggs on vibraphone. While no gigs are currently booked for this trio, I am confident that some things will pop up for the summer. Also, I just had a meeting yesterday with some individuals about possible involvement in a new band. Things are in the very early stages with that, but I\u2019ll keep you posted as things progress.\u00a0 Finally, it\u2019s almost high school musical season, so I\u2019m already going over the book for Pippin, which will be presented at Ottawa Hills High School this spring. Immediately following that, will be Music Man at Whiteford High School.<\/p>\n

In the photo hemisphere of my brain, things have been pretty quiet. I haven\u2019t had much time or inspiration to shoot much lately. With the weather this year being extra frigid, I\u2019m not out and about with the camera quite as much as winters past. One interesting development – a photo I took at the Joe Nichols show in Wauseon last September, may find it\u2019s way onto a web page for\u00a0Hercules Stands<\/a> in the near future.\u00a0 Thanks to my son, Chris (FOH Engineer and Production Manager for Joe\u2019s tour), for hooking things up with Hercules.\u00a0 Apparently, they were quite thrilled to get artist photos with the PRODUCT ACTUALLY IN THE SHOT.\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09\u00a0\u00a0 Seems like a no-brainer to me, but then who knows…<\/p>\n
