My first memories of music were from the muggy summer evenings of my early childhood – listening to the crackly AM radio transmissions from CKLW pumping out what would become the classic hits of Motown. From that time forward, I would always have a special place in my life for this thing we call music. Listening to it, playing it, composing it, recording it. It has become such an integral part of me, I couldn’t imagine life without it. And like a good friend, music has always been there for me through thick and thin – keeping me company for almost 50 years.
I am eternally grateful.
