Since my son has been doing sound this summer with Universal South recording artist Joe Nichols, we were looking forward to seeing the show at the nearest venue on the tour – the Fulton County Fair in Wauseon. As it turned out, we ended up hosting an informal barbeque for the band and crew at our home the night before the show. While Joe and his wife, Heather, were unable to attend, we still had a great time visiting with the rest of the guys. And even better, I was able to shadow my son for most of the show day, going backstage and hanging out on the tour bus. During the show, I was allowed to hang out in the wings and shoot some photos.
